My final project for my Abuse and Violence Psychology class was focused on the topic of Marital Rape and Intimate Partner Violence in the United States and globally. My research and report focused on the legal scope and history of the social problem of Marital Rape.

My final project for my Stress and Violence Human Development and Family Studies class helped me to integrate multiple stress theorems into the context of Intimate Partner Violence, allowing me to research why victims stay in abusive relationships.

Parenting Children in the context of Foster Care and Adoption
My cumulative group project in Parent Child Relationships allowed me to explore several different theorums that applied to parenting in the special cases of foster care and adoption. We created a parenting class for expectant parents of these circumstances.

Personal Research into Student Belongingness at Anderson University
My personal research gathered in the behavioral science lab at Anderson University allowed me to explore what made students at the university feel as if they “belonged.” We researched multiple factors like religiosity, perceived social competence, and student involvement.

House of Rest Non Profit
My creation of my own non-profit in my Non Profit Marketing class allowed me to showcase my knowledge of intimate partner violence and domestic abuse in a marketing setting. I created a non-profit that would successfully combat Domestic Violence as a social problem.
